Banana and chocolate melt

This one is very quick to put together as a twist to just having fruit after a meal.

  • 1 banana
  • 1 small square of good quality chocolate, such as 60-70% Cocoa. But it’s your choice as you won’t be using much of it.

Take the banana in skin and cut a slit along one side so that you can place it in a bowl, slit side up. With a sharp knife cut the chocolate into thin slices and push these into the banana slit, keeping the skin pushed together at the end. Heat the banana in a microwave for 20-30sec until chocolate just melts.
